This week has flown! To be honest, I don't think the fact that I am leaving the country tomorrow has even hit me yet. I've been a bit bogged down trying to wrap up projects and midterms, but am beginning to see the light at the end of a very long tunnel. The meetings have been going well, and Nathan says that he believes we are ready. I still feel a bit hesitant and at times underqualified - we will be the first mission team ever to visit Mendoza!
The good news is that some of the unknowns about the trip are cleared up a bit. On Tuesday, we learned what exactly we would be doing each day. Here's the breakdown:
Friday
-Leave WGM at 2:30
-Drive to Louisville, fly to Dallas (TX), fly to Santiago (Chile)
Saturday
-Arrive in Mendoza (Argentina) on Saturday around noon local time.
-Unpack, get settled
Sunday
-"Orientation" with the local missionaries
-Prepare for the week
Mon-Fri
-Leave at 8:30AM
-Work at AMAD (mainly construction) until 5:00p
-Return to missionary houses
Saturday
?
Sunday
-Leave in the morning to come back to the states! Hopefully spend some time seeing Santiago Chile during our 8-hour layover.
I hope you all are doing well! Blessings!
